1.FAR CRY 5
OFFICIAL TRAILER
The latest entry into the Far Cry franchise figures to include all of the mini-missions, base destruction, and open-world exploration that we've come to expect from the game's most recent titles, but this Far Cry breaks the mold just a bit by moving players from a harsh jungle setting to the heart of rural America.
In Far Cry 5, you will be tasked with liberating a small town from the opression of a cult that has coerced the populace through fear and intimidation. Doing so will require you to seek the help of a small band of local rebels who share your goal.
2. DRAGON BALL FIGHTERZ (2D GAME)
The upcoming 2D fighter Dragon Ball FighterZ sports dynamic, fast-paced action with visuals that looks to capture the over-the-top aesthetic of the iconic anime series. But as a fighting game, the big question is: "Who's going to be in it?" Series characters Beerus, Goku Black, and Hit were recently confirmed to be in the game, but there are a wealth of others too. To help keep you up to speed on the latest roster updates, we've compiled all the characters that have been confirmed so far.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is developed by Arc System Works The game played on a 2D plane, but its characters are rendered in full-3D. It follows a 3v3 format similar to later entries of the Marvel vs. Capcom series. The game is currently in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC and is slated for a February 2018 release.
3. Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS4, XBO)
Players of the first game will remember running down the Van Der Linde gang, so this confirms Red Dead Redemption 2 is a prequel. As well as some seriously pretty environments, we got a glimpse of a train robbery – possibly similar in gameplay to GTA Heists? And a takedown with a bow and arrow, a weapon that didn’t properly feature in Red Dead Redemption but was in Red Dead Revolver back in the day.
If you’re really pumped for Red Dead Redemption 2 you can pre-order the game from the Rockstar Warehouse right now on either PS4 or Xbox One.
“Developed by the creators of Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption, Red Dead Redemption 2 is an epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland,” reads the sales blurb. “The game’s vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience.”
4. BEYOND GOOD AND EVIL -2
- Developer: Ubisoft Montpellier
- Publisher: Ubisoft
- Platforms: TBA?
- Release: 2018
Beyond Good & Evil first debuted back in 2003 and since then gamers have been itching to get a sequel. While Beyond Good & Evil 2 may sound like a sequel, it’s actually a prequel to the first title.
Players will work their way up from a struggling pirate to a captain of a massive star-faring vessel. Overall, the setting is based around System 3 which is a center location for interstellar trade and colonization into the Milky Way. During their journey, it would seem likely that there will be a fight to free those in slavery within System 3.
5. A WAY OUT
- Developer: Hazelight Studios
- Publisher: EA Originals
- Platforms: PC, PS4, XBO
- Release: 2018
A Way Out is an upcoming action-adventure journey from Haze light Studios. This will be the second video game to be directed by Josef Fares who you may be familiar with from his previous title, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons.
This is a unique action-adventure video game as it will require two players with the display being split-screen regardless of playing the video game locally or through online. All-in-all, the narrative is based around two prisoners who must survive and escape a prison. Their stories will be told simultaneously and while one character may be in a cut scene, the other will be able to freely move and execute their tasks.
As you can likely imagine, A Way Out will focus on gamer having to work together in order to escape the authorities and complete goals.
6 . SUPER MEAT BOY FOREVER
BEST FOR KIDS (TIME PASSING)
- Developer: Team Meat
- Publisher: Team Meat
- Platforms: NS, PS4, XBO, PC, Mobo
- Release: 2018
It would be hard to imagine running into a gamer who hasn’t played or at the very least, heard of Super Meat Boy. The video game was a massive success and a highly addicting and challenging platform title by indie developers Team Meat.
What was originally meant to be a mobile-only version of Super Meat Boy has gradually turned into a full-fledged sequel. Super Meat Boy Forever will once again have players going through dangerous obstacles, but this time, Meta Boy and Bandage Girl must work together.
In the narrative, Super Meat Boy Forever tells the story of Dr. Fetus who has managed to kidnap Meat Boy and Bandage Girl’s child, Nugget. While the platforming mechanics are present, there are some slight gameplay mechanic overhauls made for the upcoming sequel as well.
GOOD LUCK TO THESE GAMES :)
